.

What You’ll Do:

- Be the go-to expert for members seeking guidance on energy usage, conservation, and renewable energy options.

- Provide member assistance through energy evaluations, offering practical recommendations to help members save energy and money.

- Support residential and commercial solar projects—from member education to coordinating final inspections—ensuring safe and effective integration.

- Lead and participate in community outreach programs, promoting energy-saving initiatives and innovative rate structures.

- Collaborate with engineering and communications teams to develop EV education,

newsletter and 

social media content, and member engagement strategies.

- Represent HEMC at civic events, schools, and community meetings, becoming a trusted face of our cooperative.

What We’re Looking For:

- A two-year degree is required; a four-year degree is strongly preferred.

- Experience in the utility industry is a plus.

- Strong communication skills and a passion for public servic

e.

- A valid NC driver’s license and the ability to work in various field conditions.
