We are seeking an Electrical Power Engineer

to design, analyze, and support industrial power distribution systems within a plant or facility. This role focuses on the safe and reliable design of electrical infrastructure supporting motors, drives, transformers, switchgear, and critical power systems.

- Design plant power distribution systems, including one-line diagrams and load calculations

- Size and specify transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, motor starters, and UPS systems

- Perform power system studies (short-circuit, protection coordination, arc-flash, grounding)

- Support equipment procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning

- Ensure designs comply with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and applicable utility requirements

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

- Experience with industrial or commercial power systems

- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and equipment specifications

- Familiarity with power system analysis tools (ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, or similar)

Preferred

- PE license or progress toward licensure

- Experience in industrial, process plant, or power-generation environments

$130,000—$160,000 USD
