This position requires loading and unloading trailers, securing the contents of those trailers, driving them to a specified location, and working flexible hours. Individual
must know DOT rules and regulations and complete the required paperwork in a timely way.
- Perform pre- and post-shift inspections
- Load trailer for transport and unload trailer after transport
- Secure trailer and the contents inside of it
- Drive truck to specified locations in a safe and efficient way
- Read and understand State permit processes
- Maintain a chain of communication with the Logistics Administrator and the customer when needed
- Complete proper paperwork in a timely manner
- Maintain a safe and clean overall work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ability to travel for one to three nights at a time
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of DOT rules and regulation
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent years of experience
Lifting up to 50 pounds - 20% of shift

Work takes place in a climate controlled truck or outside, subject to weather. The volume is moderate. Individual may be exposed to hot or cold temperatures.
This position could lead to advancement to Logistics Administrator.
