NOV is actively recruiting for a Drill Bit Repair Supervisor for our location in Broussard, LA to manage the service on products associated with drill bit repair while following procedure provided by the NOV Service Quality Team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordinate work schedule of shop technicians.

- Provide direct oversight and planning regarding schedules, productivity, training, competency, and HSEQ targets.

- Train and develop employees’ level of knowledge, from entry level thru certification, of repair processes including but not limited to dull grading, pre-heat, cutter removal, pocket qualifications, cutter assembly, brazing, post-braze clean-up, and final inspection.

- Ensure the completion of all necessary documentation during the repair process.

- Perform equipment preventive maintenance and inspections as required in procedures.

- Maintain 5S and housekeeping in shop area.

- Ensure compliance of specifications and HSEQ requirements by all technicians.

- Communicate with customers (districts) as needed on repairability of bits.

Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

- High School diploma or equivalent

- Experience in all aspects of shop operation
