Job Description

- Draft engineering design drawings using AutoCAD for utilities and telecom projects

- Create CAD drawings from concept stage to final design

- Assist in the preparation of project related drawings, documents

- Liaise with technical staff and clients

- Performs other related duties as required

Job Requirements:

- Couple of years of experience using AutoCAD software related to utility and Telecom designs

- Must be proficient in AutoCAD, experience working with paperspace, customizing scripts and tools

- Proficiency in Excel, SpidaCalc, and/or QuickPole is an asset.

- Experience with underground and overhead hydro and telecom design projects is an asset.

- Good understanding of related industry standards such as CSA, ESA and Regulation 22/04

- Self-motivated, excellent verbal, written and communication skills, ability to learn new skills

- College diploma in electrical or civil program at minimum
