As a District Manager (Downstream Chemicals), you are responsible for:
- Ensure all activities are carried out according to our non-negotiables and our cultural pillars
- Collaborate with sales/comms teams as well as direct interaction with customers for assigned area to understand the activity forecast (volume and complexity)
- Ensure flawless execution and on-time delivery by assigning appropriate resources in line with volume and complexity of forecasted activity and by developing Quality plans in line with our job cycle process
- Ensure that the team fully understand the contracts/quote for their assigned job portfolio to ensure we harvest our contracts and collect what we are owed
- Oversee the budget for Downstream P/L for the area of responsibility
- Develop team in line with competency and training programs for their respective positions as well as future career plans
- This position will be focused on customer engagement, managing service delivery, sales and financial performance for assigned customers
To be successful in this role you will:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience with Chemicals.
- Willing and able to travel to customer sites (50%) In designated area
- Must be able to present information to a variety of audiences in a clear and concise manner
- Proven success in technical sales and customer relations
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, (PowerPoint, WORD, Excel)
- Ability to lead and influence others that are not direct reports
- Willing and able to perform mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting as required
