The successful candidate will have primary responsibilities to fulfill daily Shipping/Receiving with cross-training for general labour shop duties on an 'as needed' basis.

Job Requirements:

- Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer in accordance with defined procedures and legislation.

- Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or by computer, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions.

- Oversee loading and unloading goods from trucks or other conveyances.

- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.

- Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas.

- Maintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems.

- May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.

- Must have ability to lift up to 50-pounds at a time.

- Completes other labour tasks such as painting, carpentry and/or equipment assembly when/as required.

- Trouble shooting abilities for work with a wide variety of equipment.

- Accurate completion of related paperwork, documentation, and records.

- Demonstrated commitment to quality and strong attention to detail.

- Ability to work with other plant personnel.

- Adhere to and maintains safe work practices, including WHMIS requirements.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

This full-time vacant role requires fluency in English (read, write and speak) with 3-YEARS current work history and ROTATING SHIFT availability, preferably in a Precision Machining Shop or manufacturing environment. Forklift experience preferred.

MUST RESIDE IN PROVINCE OF ONTARIO and have reliable personal transportation (no public transportation available).

Early Shift (7am) start time.
