Rossco Hook Line & Sling LLC is a new division of Rossco Crane & Rigging specializing in below-the-hook lifting gear inspections, rigging sales & overhead/mobile crane inspections.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot, inspect, repair and load test overhead cranes and hoists.

- Inspect, repair and load test rigging and hardware for overhead lifting.

- Perform preventive maintenance activities on rigging and hardware.

- Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs for customers.

- Service overhead crane systems by performing and documenting inspections; troubleshooting breakdowns; performing preventive maintenance; and responding to repair calls.

- Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklist.

- Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization in all areas.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

- Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.

- Ability to work independently and as a team.

- Ability to perform inspections to OSHA/ANSI criteria

- Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits

- Ability to assemble and repair complex machinery

- Ability to work at heights. Extension ladders, step ladders and elevated work platforms

- Willingness to travel and stay out of town when needed

- Good driving record

- Ability to work inside, outside and extremely load areas

- Ability to pass background checks and/or drug testing

- Able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds

- Excellent communication and writing skills

Required Equipment & knowledge needed to perform job

- Hand tools; power tools; airier lift equipment; material handling equipment; electrical meters and equipment, ear plugs; steel-toed boots; gloves; safety glasses; lanyard and body harness, FR clothing, hardhat.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, Overtime, Weekends as needed

Experience

- Electrical repair and diagnoses: (Required)

- Mechanical repair: (Required)

- Overhead crane operation/inspection: 2 years (Preferred, will train)

- CDL Class A (Required, within 6 months)

- Operate forklift and skid steer (Preferred, will train)
