This position plays a vital role in supporting underground utility construction projects by assisting crews with various hands-on tasks, including retrieving tools, cutting and laying pipe, and general site support. Key Responsibilities

- Assist crew members with various construction tasks on-site.

- Retrieve, transport, and organize tools and materials as needed.

- Operate and maintain basic hand tools safely and effectively.

- Perform pipe laying, including measuring, cutting, and positioning pipes.

- Follow instructions to ensure proper installation of underground utilities.

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

- Adhere to OSHA and company safety regulations at all times.

- Support site supervisors and equipment operators to ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications

- Experience with basic hand tools (wrenches, hammers, tape measures, etc.).

- Willingness to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.

- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

- Prior experience in construction or underground utility work is a plus but not required.

- Strong work ethic and attention to safety.

- Valid driver's license is preferred.
