Wood is currently recruiting for a Construction Completions Package Coordinator to join our construction project site located near Williams Lake, Saskatchewan. The Completions Package Coordinator will be responsible for proactively is responsible for organizing, planning, and managing specific work packages or sub-packages within a larger construction project. The Construction Completions Package Coordinator will serve as a key liaison between site staff, project managers, contractors and consultants, ensuring that assigned scopes of work are properly tracked and reported.

- Monitor schedule and quantities of work completed, identifying mitigation strategies where required
- Participate in the turnover process by assembling completion checklists and other construction records
- Assist with any clarification, interpretation, interference resolution and QA/QC related matters
- Coordinate with Wood engineering to ensure timely resolutions of any Requests for Information
- Assist in the review and resolution of QA/QC non-conformance reports (NCRs)
- Assemble turnover documents, construction package scopes, compile reports pertaining to deficiencies, and system completions
- Ensure site - instructions, drawings and specifications for scope changes with contractors are issued/communicated in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain communication channels with client, stake holders, contractors and internal Wood personnel to ensure that work flows smoothly and is delivered to the Project’s expectations
- Monitor daily construction activities with respect to performance, procedure, quality and provide the Construction Manager with detailed, timely daily reports of all such activities and equipment utilized for these activities
- Monitor and report on progress against the milestones, identifying potential delays
- Submit weekly progress reports outlining items of concern such as progress delays, safety observations, non-conformance with specifications/ drawings, equipment, weather delays, congestion, workmanship, quality control and potential scope changes or contractual impacts

- Minimum of 8 years of multi-discipline construction experience on large scale, heavy industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Substantial experience managing construction work packages (AWP Planning) scopes of work on dynamic, complex projects
- Engineering technologist diploma or graduate degree in related field
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, advanced work packaging, engineering documents and specifications
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work in a team environment
