Read blueprints, maintain clean work environment, Assemble concrete communications building in accordance with VFP, Inc. standards.
- Hook four ways and extension to crane and then to floor. Set floor onto dollies in bay.
- Spread grout around floor, paint grout with tams coat, seal floor, put weather strip and lay plastic around floor.
- Hook crane to beam, set long walls, chip plates, put butle tape on walls, set end walls, tighten jacks to get all gaps ¼” apart. Set roof onto walls.
- Chip and clean concrete residue from all roof plates, clean with wire brush, weld all plates, take all jacks off buildings
- Request Quality Control Technician to inspect building.
- Sweep inside of building, remove jacks and push building down track to Patch/Paint Department.
- Responsible for daily clean up at the end of shift.
- Direct point of contact for Concrete Supervisor in providing daily tasks for assembly/welding area.
- Must have current welder certification. Oversees and provides guidance in welding with other employees.
- Trains new employees in VFP standards and procedures and cross-train existing employees, when necessary, in other job duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.
High school diploma or general education diploma (GED).
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to read blueprints and tape measure.
- Must have knowledge and skills in the use of electric welding equipment.
- Must have knowledge and skills in operation of crane.
Basic knowledge of math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
