Job Objective Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the Chief Plant Operator has full responsibility for the successful operation and maintenance of the assigned facility(s). Job Details Title: Chief Plant Operator Certification: Grade III Wastewater (minimum) Department: Asset Management Reports To: Director of Operations Office Location: San Diego, California Region Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years in supervisory position & 10 years total experience Classification: Exempt Traveled Required: Occasional Normal Business Hrs: 7AM to 4PM, Monday through Friday Prepared Date: September 3, 2021 Assigned Facility(s): Pala Casino Resort and Spa Principal Duties and Responsibilities •Operate and maintain a wastewater treatment facility •Supervise and manage operation & maintenance personnel assigned the facility •Manages implementation and ongoing utilization of the company ComputerizedMaintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking Asset Management •Interact with regulatory agencies and clients •Analyze and resolve problems with process and/or equipment •Review lab tests and interpret data •Create and distribute client, regulatory and operating data reports •Prepare and coordinate regulatory programs as required •Maintain compliance with regulatory permits •Oversee and perform process adjustments to maintain treatment process compliance •Perform other duties and participate in the operation of other PERC Water facilities onlimited basis as needed •Know and understand contractual obligations and deliverables for each respectivefacility •Manage operations budget for the facility •Client Interface including attending monthly operations meetings •Prepare Monthly Operations Reports •Manage Capital Replacement projects specific to assigned facilities •Facilitate Facility Tours •Promote and adhere to PERC Water's written corporate Safety program •Maintain acceptable attendance per PERC Water standards •Communicate any problems/issues to management •All other tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- General computer knowledge; good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel,CMMS program used on site
- Excellent team-working and communications skills to enable effective interaction with andsupervision of PERC Water personnel. Able to establish and maintain effective workingrelationships with others.
- Physical: •Body Positions: Standing and/or Sitting for extended periods of time, walking on uneventerrain around Facilities. •Body Movements: Use of hands, legs, eyes, arms and voice. •Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders. •Must be able to climb on, or into facility equipment and systems (Confined SpaceTraining required). •Willingness to travel a plus.

- Grade III Wastewater Certification or higher 2.5 years prior supervisory experience required
- Minimum 10 years previous experience in water resource facility operations
- Valid state issued driver's license Work Conditions Water Reclamation Facility & Collection System (indoor and outdoor)
