Calibration and Repair Technician role is full-time and onsite 5 days per week in our Sterling, Virginia office with occasional travel to our additional locations in Houston, TX; Burr Ridge, IL; and Phoenix, AZ. This role will report directly to the Calibration & Support Manager.
- Check in and calibrate electrical equipment with proper instrumentation according to established procedures.
- Assign and track customer calibration jobs (at a branch level) and help ensure timely turnaround and clear communication of status updates.
- Assist with creating new test and calibration procedures.
- Perform basic and advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting on electric equipment using tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Review data for accuracy and completeness.
- Able to travel for field calibration services (2x per month) and cross-training as needed.
- At least 1-year hands on working with Electrical Equipment and/or Calibration equipment.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as a team player and independently.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- 9:30am – 6:00 pm
