Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC programming, machining processes, and the ability to work with various materials. The CNC Operator will ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

- Operate CNC machines, including Fanuc-controlled equipment, to manufacture parts according to specifications.

- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.

- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.

- Set up and adjust machine tools as necessary, including the use of hand tools for modifications.

- Package finished products for shipment, ensuring proper handling and labeling.

- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.

- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

- Engage in materials handling tasks as required, including loading and unloading materials using forklifts.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing facility.

- Proficient in operating CNC machinery and understanding of machining processes.

- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

- Knowledge of Fanuc programming is preferred but not mandatory.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Experience with hand tools for setup and maintenance tasks.

- Capable of performing materials handling duties safely and efficiently.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
