The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery including Citizen, Miyano, Hardinge, Nakamura Tome, and/or Mori Seiki machines, together with trouble shooting a wide variety of materials.

Job Requirements:
•MUST HAVE 4-YEAR LATHE EXPERIENCE OF METAL PRECISION PARTS
•Skilled operator of CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.
•Ability to perform complete set-ups with appropriate cutting tool selection.
•Thorough understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings and use of precision measuring instruments.
•Experience managing small team in production machining environment an asset.
•Demonstrates a high level of mechanical aptitude and skill when manual handling machine parts.
•Knowledgeable in the use of precision measuring instruments.
•Trouble shooting abilities for work with a wide variety of materials.
•Log all work timelines and tasks in Epicor (ERP).
•Must be quality oriented with a strong attention to detail.
•Maintain positive working relationships when interacting with other plant personnel.
•Adheres to and maintains safe work practices, including WHMIS requirements.
•Adept at reading/understanding Production Sheets for completion of accurate parts.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
Must have reliable personal transportation (no public transportation available)*.
THIS IS NOT A CO-OP or SEASONAL STUDENT POSITION.
This vacant role requires fluency in English (read, write and speak) with 5-8 years Precision Machining Shop experience and a minimum of 4-years on Lathes. CNC Certification preferred.
