Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our engineering and design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and schematics using a variety of CAD software tools. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative projects across construction, civil, mechanical, and architectural disciplines. The CAD Drafter will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to develop accurate plans that meet industry standards and client specifications.

Duties

- Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SolidWorks, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and other CAD software.

- Create schematics, construction documents, and mechanical designs for various projects.

- Assist in the preparation of technical drawings for construction and manufacturing purposes.

- Incorporate design modifications based on project requirements or client feedback.

- Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and project deadlines.

- Collaborate with engineers and designers to review schematics and resolve drafting issues.

- Maintain organized digital files of all drawings and related documentation.

- Support the development of 2D animations or visualizations as needed for project presentations.

Qualifications

- Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SolidWorks, SketchUp, NavisWorks, or similar tools.

- Strong knowledge of drafting principles, schematics creation, and construction documentation.

- Experience with mechanical design and 2D animation is a plus.

- Familiarity with civil engineering concepts and construction processes preferred.

- Ability to interpret technical sketches and translate them into detailed drawings.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.43 - $40.00 per hour
