Ground & Facilities Technician

Company Description:

Custom Aluminum Products, a large custom aluminum extrusion manufacturer with locations in South Elgin and Genoa, IL is accepting applications for a 1st shift Facilities & Ground Technician in our Genoa, IL location.

Responsibilities:

- Experience using zero-turn mowers, trimmers and lawn maintenance equipment.

- Responsible for upkeep of several buildings including mowing lawns, plants and flower maintenance.

- Plant flowers, mulch, watering, trimming, weeding and grounds maintenance in the summer.

- General indoor/outdoor grounds-keeping throughout the facility.

- Winter responsibilities include plowing, shoveling and building maintenance.

- Responsible in maintaining building appearances & cleaning outdoor areas.

- General errands and duties as assigned.

- Running floor scrubber in various buildings.

- Occasional janitorial duties as assigned.

- Must have a “can do" attitude, being able to follow instructions and work independently.

- Valid driver’s license required.

- Must be able to understand instructions in English,
