The Jordan Basin Improvement District has an opening in the Maintenance Department. The position open is Building/Grounds Maintenance at the Jordan Basin Wastewater Reclamation Facility located in Riverton, Utah. This position performs a variety of duties related to buildings and grounds maintenance of District properties.

Salary: $19.11-$27.00 per hour (Depending on Certification/Experience)

- Requires a valid Utah driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- U.S. work authorization.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Maintain an active individual telephone number.
- Ability to work independently, good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use all related equipment and tools.
- Perform related duties as assigned by Grounds Maintenance Lead, Maintenance Supervisor & Lead.
- Ability to operate all equipment required - Back-hoe, tractor, forklift, snowplows, mowers, etc.
- Perform responsibilities in an efficient and professional manner.
- Interacts with District staff, customers, and business contacts in a professional, helpful, and friendly manner.
- Attend all meetings and training as required. Wear appropriate uniforms and safety equipment as required.
- Assisting with the maintenance of District properties including (but not limited to): Mowing, Edging, Weeding, Maintaining sprinkler systems, Fertilizing, Snow removal, Painting, Cleaning of buildings.
