Brake Press Setter/Operator

Attendance Incentive

· $2.50 an hour attendance bonus is paid bi-weekly if employee has no un-authorized leave during that period.

Job Duties:

· Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes

· Setup CNC brake press based on specifications

· Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines

· Other duties as assigned

· Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications

· Prepare Jigs and set up for welding

Qualifications:

· Brake Press Setup and Operation: 2 years

· Mig Welding: 1 year

· Ability to lift 55 lbs

· Willingness to work overtime when required

· Other CNC Equipment experience is an asset

· Maintenance experience is preferred

· Forklift experience would be an asset

· Requires good hand/eye/foot coordination

· Must be able to stand, sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel and/or crouch for extended periods of time

· While performing the duties of this job, the individual is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditionsVision 20/20 corrected and normal hearing range

· Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment – cool in winter months and hot in the summer months

· Secondary School (Preferred)

· Speak and Read English (Required)

One Position Available

· Day Shift 7:00 am to 3:30 pm 5 days per week

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
