NJR Plumbing Services (NJRPS), a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources, is seeking a Bona Fide Representative to maintain the plumbing license for NJRPS)and ensure that the organization, policies and procedures of NJRPS are in accordance with all New Jersey plumbing regulations and laws. The Bona-Fide Representative is responsible in maintaining profitability for $5 million in plumbing revenue and offering plumbing assistance to NJR Home Services in the $12 million HVAC business and $1.5 million back-up generator business.
Major Responsibilities:•Grow the business and maintain profitability by facilitating the sales and services offered by NJRPS.
•Facilitate the plumbing permit process for all work that requires a permit per the UCC.
•Act as a liaison with local plumbing and building inspectors to ensure that NJRPS and NJRHS complies with all regulations.
•Abide by the conditions of employment included in, but not limited to the NJR Code of Conduct.
•Supervise Bargaining Unit Labor under the terms and conditions stated in the Articles of Agreement between NJR Home Services, and Local Union 1820 of the IBEW, AFL-CIO.
•Develop and provide training to all NJRHS and NJRPS employees on plumbing work.
•Provide leadership to NJRPS staff.
•Commit to coaching team members and providing feedback in developing technical skills and maintaining safe practices on the job.
•Identify barriers for the workforce that impact job performance, costs and customer satisfaction.
•Develop solutions to remove barriers and improve operations.
•Review pro-card transactions by field and stores personnel to ensure accuracy, timeliness and adherence to company policies.
•Investigate transactions that fall outside of these norms and take appropriate action to correct these types of transactions.
•Calculate costs of doing business and cost out alternatives for services provided.
•Work with Sales and Installation Supervisor to ensure jobs are set-up and installed properly.
•Vehicle management responsibilities including inventory and cycle counts and responsibility for facility maintenance.
Position Requirements:
•A minimum of 10 years’ experience, which includes managing the personnel and business operations of a plumbing practice.
Must be willing to become a Bona Fide Representative for NJR Plumbing Services.

Compensation: Expected base pay range for this role will be $87,700- $111,800 .
Base pay is based on several factors including, experience, skills, and knowledge.
This role will be eligible to participate in an annual short term incentive program.
