Job description

A new division, of an established aerospace company, is looking to add Grinder Blaster Operators. The position is classified as full-time, Non-Exempt. Typical days and hours of work are Monday to Thursday 5am to 3PM.

RESPONSIBILITES AND REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

- Grinds and shot blasts metal to remove defects and prepare material for rolling operations or subcontractor outside processing operations.

- Ability to read and understand work orders and training materials

- Ability to properly load material on equipment using forklifts

- Ability to identify defects in material and remove them

- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of area

- Adheres to personal and facility safety procedures and practices

- Must be able to read and understand work orders and cutting instructions, both written and on computer program.

- Must be able to communicate, verbally and written, with managers and coworkers.

- Must maintain quality practices and safety standards.

- Forklift Certified

- Must be able to work overtime as required.

- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
