About This Job

Overview

We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics that support the design and construction of various projects. This role requires proficiency in CAD software and a strong understanding of engineering principles to effectively translate concepts into precise visual representations.

Responsibilities

•

Develop and prepare detailed drawings, and models using CAD software, including AutoCAD, CADWorx.

•

Collaborate with our Structural Engineer and Drafting Manager to understand project requirements and specifications.

•

Draft layouts and elevations for building structures, and Structural Skids

•

Review and revise designs based on markups from customers to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.

•

Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards and best practices for drafting.

Qualifications

•

Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, and CADWorx

•

Strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques with the ability to create accurate schematics.

•

Experience in Self Framing building design or civil engineering is preferred but not mandatory.

•

Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills to interpret complex information accurately.

•

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

•

Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and concepts to team members and stakeholders.
