JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.

· Analyze and interpret blueprints, data, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment and certification methods, formulas, and measuring instruments.

· Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, and work for conformance to specifications.

· Record inspection or test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities inspected or graded.

· Mark items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status.

· Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, CMM, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.

· Analyze test data and make computations necessary to determine test results.

· Inspect undercarriage parts in assembly operations, CMM programming, running CMM as and when required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· Associate's degree or equivalent experience/training required with 3-4 years’ experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

· Blueprint reading experience.

· Root cause analysis experience.

· Metrology experience.

· Shopfloor experience.

DESIRED SKILLS:

· GD&T experience.

· CMM programming experience.

· Microsoft Office experience.

SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Team Player.

· Self-Motivated.

· Eager to learn.

· Detail Oriented.

· Ability to openly communicate quality issues and nonconformances to others.

· Good interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of interdepartmental teammates and cross functional team members.
