Expectations/ Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

- Front end loader operator

- Following all safety standards as per company policies

- Support daily maintenance of the asphalt and rap plant; greasing of bearings, adjusting belts

- Must be willing to labor in areas of need

- Willingness to learn equipment repair skills

- Keeping work area clean and safe

- Welding capabilities a plus

Required Knowledge/Skills/Aptitudes:

- Prior front end loader experience

- Asphalt/rap industry related experience considered a plus but not mandatory

- Must have an optimistic attitude and willing to learn new tasks

- Must be able to read, comprehend manuals & directions

Physical Demands:

- Perform all job-related functions at elevated heights (80’)

- Repetitive stooping, bending, crouching as required to perform duties

- Ability to lift/carry at least 50 pounds unaccompanied

- Candidate must be able to stand for extended periods of time

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

- Hours of work are: 12 hours a day generally between (5:30am to 5:00pm) Monday through Friday.

- Saturday work as required.

- Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions

- Periodical exposure to high levels of noise, grease & dust

Travel:

- This position is based in Rome, NY

Position is Full-time:

- Pay: Starting at $26 per hour; final pay depending on experience. Time and the half paid after 40 hours per week.

- Pay will depend on skills and/or qualifications
