Standard Energy Solutions is looking for a skilled Electrical Apprentice to join our growing solar team. Our Electrical Apprentice works under general supervision and direction from our certified electrician.

Pay range: $18 - $24 hour, based on experience.

Qualifications:

- Punctual, regular and consistent attendance record.

Job Duties:

- Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit.

- Pulling and terminating wire

- Installing electrical equipment

- Assist Journeyman with installing and troubleshooting lighting, panels, disconnects, conduit, solar panels, inverters.

- Trace out short circuits in wiring, using a test meter.

- Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections, using hand tools.

- Clean work area.

Required Experience:

- 1 year electrical

- Conduit bending experience

Preferred Experience:

- Rough in / Finish in

- Main panel upgrade

- Commercial construction 1 year

- Solar experience

Must pass criminal background check and drug screening for employment
