Blue Water Industries, a growing aggregate producer, is currently seeking to fill a Yard Loader Operator position at the Yancey Quarry in Burnsville, NC. Blue Water Industries offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k plan, paid time off and paid holidays.

Yard Loader Operator Requirements

- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a front-end loader in the yard and stockpile areas.

- Perform a pre-shift inspection, keep coolant, lubricants, and oils at proper levels, and perform minor maintenance and repairs on the loader.

- Must be familiar with and adhere to service requirements, equipment and operator limitations, and safe operating procedures at all times.

- Must keep housekeeping inside and outside of the loader clean and neat at all times.

- Assist with yard maintenance, material stockpiling, and loadout duties on a routine basis.

- Willing to be task trained on other mobile equipment.

- Performs other duties as directed by management.

Experience: Must have at least 1 year of related experience.

Physical Demands

- Must be able to push, pull or lift 50 lbs. or more.

- Must be able to bend down, crouch, and squat.

- Must be able to walk the plant and perform repairs and clean-up when needed.

- Must be able to climb a 10-foot vertical ladder.

- Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
