We are hiring a Administrative Assistant is responsible for:
- Compiling regular safety statistical data for QHSE department.
- Updating and maintaining e-registry accounts and any other data management systems as required.
- Maintaining up-to-date health and safety filing systems.
- Assisting with the compilation of HSE information for pre-qualification documents.
- Obtaining WCB clearances and statements when requested.
- Working with the QHSE Team to assist in maintaining and updating safety databases.
- Assisting with document control of Safety documents.
- Assembling and distributing monthly safety meeting packages.
- Coordinating safety department functions including travel arrangements, meetings, and processes.
- Updating and maintaining health and safety documents on corporate and shared computer drives.
- Acting in a professional and confidential manner at all times when dealing with sensitive employee and company information.
- Completing general administrative duties as required.
- 1-3 years' experience in a reception or administrative position.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Team player with strong communication and organizational skills, and the demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment with the ability to multi task, and effectively manage competing priorities.
- Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration or relevant safety program is considered an asset.
- Reliable transportation as location is not accessible by public transportation.
- Solid understanding and belief in the importance of safety in the workplace, and the demonstrated ability to do his/her part to ensure that safety takes precedence.
