We are a dynamic aluminum recycling producer committed to sustainable practices and efficient operations. As part of a larger organization with our parent company located in Camden, NJ, we are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented professional to manage our office and accounting functions.
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Accounting Office Manager to oversee daily office operations, handle key accounting responsibilities, and ensure smooth administrative and financial processes in our manufacturing environment. This is a salaried, full-time position that may require additional hours as needed to complete essential tasks. The successful candidate will communicate daily with our parent company in Camden, NJ, and play a vital role in supporting our team's productivity and efficiency.
- Perform financial preparations, account analysis, and reporting tailored to the manufacturing and recycling process.
- Manage all accounting procedures using QuickBooks.
- Handle Human Resources functions, including payroll processing.
- Oversee accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R).
- Perform bank account management and reconciliations.
- Conduct clerical and administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining office records.
- Manage inventory tracking and control.
- Maintain an organized and efficient office environment that promotes teamwork.
- Provide administrative support to senior management as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and contribute to process improvements.
- Proven experience in office management, accounting, or a similar hybrid role (preferably in manufacturing or a small-to-medium business).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word).
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and general accounting principles.
- Experience with A/P, A/R, payroll, and HR practices is essential; familiarity with human resources functions is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills, including calendar and schedule management.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and work independently without supervision.
