Essential Job Functions

· Reads order

· Reads tape measure and calipers; uses tape measure to measure material

· Climbs on material to locate and pull material for loading

· Bends and stoops to handle chains, slings, spreader bars and/or composition of material handling equipment needed to work shipping orders

· Bends to floor level to locate and pull material for loading

· Records accurately all Quality Assurance information

· Reads color charts accurately to determine thickness and/or composition of material

· Lifts 45 pounds, on a frequent basis

· Operate Hubtec

Non-essential Job Functions

· Demonstrates ability and responsibility to perform other duties assigned by the foreman as necessary to complete shift

· Cleans and polices assigned work areas

· Ability to operate the crane at times

· Unload and load trucks

Physical Requirements

· 80% Standing

· 50% Walking

· 50% Stooping/bending/stepping in and out

· 20% Hand use

· 20% Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.

· 20% lifting up to 50 lbs.

· 10% Carrying up to 50 lbs.

Other Skills/Abilities

· Recognizing material size/grades

· Measuring skills
