Consolidated Machine & Welding is looking for a second-shift CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Laser Operator at our Hannibal, MO location. The CNC Laser Operator uses computer controlled cutting equipment to cut steel, aluminum, stainless steel and various other metals into a wide variety of parts. You will be responsible for loading raw material into the machine, monitoring machine performance, and ensuring machine is properly maintained. Pay starting at $19.06 per hour with the opportunity to earn up to $23.69 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential.
- Perform laser cutting operations using cutting programs and fixtures.
- Make proper set-ups for cutting operations.
- Monitor machine performance.
- Perform required maintenance on machine. Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor.
- Perform all dimensional inspections.
- Operate forklift as needed.
- Use ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to log in and out of work orders.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to use a tape measure, calipers, and basic hand tools.
- Forklift operating experience.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to identify material.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
- Basic computer skills
