Proline Pipe Equipment Inc. manufactures, rents and sells quality equipment and supplies to the pipeline construction industry. We are looking for an experienced apprentice Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) . This is a full-time opportunity with a guarantee work week of Monday to Friday 40+ hours per week.

We are currently seeking a candidate to perform the following duties:

- Service equipment for rental purposes (in shop and field setting) various pieces of equipment.

- Complete detailed Health & Safety documents, including Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs), PPE inspections, Vehicle and Tools.

- Inspect equipment when returned from rent for damages and repair or replace defective parts.

- Trouble shooting/Repairs/Manufacture of our fleet of pipeline equipment with a working knowledge of Electrical/Hydraulics and pneumatics.

- Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and chain & belts & Motor/Pumps to precise tolerances.

- Align and test equipment and make any necessary adjustments.

- Perform predictive and operational procedures,

- Rigging and hoisting

- Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and detailed drawings to ensure work meets company standards.

- Perform work in specialized areas, including confined spaces.

- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

- Scheduled on-call requirements

- Assist in other areas as requested

- Perform various other tasks assigned.

- Preferred certificates would be ideal not necessary

- H2S Alive, CSTS, PCST, Standard First Aid, Confined Space, Cat ET/Assist, Cummins Insight, Overhead Crane, Loader, Pipe layer and Forklift

Skills that are required:

- Experienced Millwright Apprentice or Journeyman

- Willing to work overtime as needed

- Willing to leave with short notice for service requirements

- Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs

- Must have a valid driver’s license and produce a clean drivers abstract

- Must be able to provide a security clearance

- Must be able to pass random drug testing

- Ability to prioritize tasks for completion in a timely manner

- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Good verbal and written communication skills.

- Exceptional attention to detail and strong focus on safety.

- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with often changing priorities.

Pay: $30.10-$38.70 per hour
