Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a 2-4 Year Electrical Apprentice based in Nanaimo, BC. The responsibilities include assisting with electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs under the supervision of licensed electricians. This role offers hands-on training to help apprentices grow their expertise and advance in their careers.

Qualifications

- Knowledge of Electricity and Electrical Engineering principles

- Experience or familiarity with Electrical Work, including system installations and upgrades

- Skills in Maintenance, Repair, and equipment troubleshooting

- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety

- Ability to follow instructions, learn from supervision, and work as part of a team

- Enrolment in or completion of a formal Electrical Apprenticeship program is required

- Basic understanding of local electrical codes and regulations is necessary

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required

- Experience in solar is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
