We’re looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records across our manufacturing and distribution facilities. You will help ensure timely stock replenishment, investigate discrepancies, and support warehouse operations for smooth workflow and supply chain continuity.
Inventory Specialist Responsibilities and Duties· Track, manage, and document inventory levels across locations·
Log incoming shipments and materials· Identify, investigate and resolve inventory shortages, overages, or discrepancies·
Accurately enter inventory data into the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems·
Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure that inventory meets manufacturing demands and timelines·
Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and perform cycle counts as required, as well as audits, and inventory process improvements·
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulations regarding inventory and product handling·
Promote and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment for inventory managementInventory Specialist Qualifications and Skills· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills·
Familiarity with inventory software and databases· Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift certification is a plus)·
Excellent problem-solving and record keeping abilities· Strong communication and teamwork skills· Basic math and analytical proficiencyEducation and Experience Requirements· High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred)· 1–3 years of experience in inventory, warehousing, or supply chain roles· Experience using inventory management or ERP systems
