Job Description:

- Oversee and ensure the quality of components, focusing on their mechanical integrity and longevity.

- Lead and manage advanced research and development initiatives aimed at product scale-up and enhancement.

- Conduct comprehensive wear testing of components to ascertain durability and recommend improvements.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, consultants, and strategic partners for product R&D and optimization.

- Ensure that all products and components adhere to industry standards, environmental regulations, and health and safety protocols.

- Provide advanced technical expertise on mechanical design, materials selection, and product testing.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the field of mechanical engineering, materials science, and product development.

- Help with the development and implementation of innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.

- Participate in the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and documentation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials science, and wear testing methodologies.

- Demonstrable experience in leading research and development for product scale-up.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Enthusiasm for innovation and a willingness to adapt to rapidly evolving technologies and environments.

- Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers.
