We specialize in casing running services for the oil and gas industry, and we are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient HSE and DOT Clerk to support our Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance efforts.
As the HSE and DOT Clerk, you will play a crucial role in assisting our HSE and DOT teams in maintaining records, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Record Management:
- Maintain and organize records related to safety incidents, inspections, training, and DOT compliance.
- Ensure all records are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for audits or reporting.
- Documentation Compliance:
- Assist in verifying and updating documentation to ensure compliance with HSE and DOT regulations.
- Monitor changes in regulations and standards, and help implement necessary updates.
- Reporting:
- Generate reports on safety performance, incidents, and DOT compliance metrics for management review.
- Compile data and assist in preparing reports for regulatory agencies as required.
- Incident Support:
- Assist in incident reporting, investigations, and follow-up actions.
- Maintain incident documentation, photographs, and correspondence.
- Training Coordination:
- Assist in scheduling and tracking safety training for employees, ensuring that required training is completed.
- Maintain training records and certification documentation.
- Communication:
- Assist in the communication of safety and compliance updates and initiatives to employees.
- Collaborate with the HSE and DOT teams to ensure that employees are informed about safety policies and procedures.
- Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the HSE and DOT departments, including handling correspondence, managing calendars, and organizing meetings.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certifications in safety, HSE, or DOT compliance are a plus.
- Previous experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in an HSE or DOT compliance environment.
- Basic knowledge of HSE and DOT regulations and standards is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data management software.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
