ELEMENT TECHNICAL SERVICES

**Electronics Technician II**

**Reports to**

  

* Shop Supervisor

  

**Summary of Position**

Has 1 to 3 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. Will be required to do monthly PM services, software updates and training of lower level techs.

**Requirements**

  

* Possess an advanced hand tool set.
* To follow all safety processes and procedures.
* Siemens, Rockwell, Opto22 plc training
* Knowledge of industrial engine/transmission diagnostic software.
* Safeland training
* Install/repair/calibrate 4-20ma instruments for plc control
* Proficient with computers

  

Duties & Responsibilities

  

* MUST FOLLOW ALL SAFETY REGULATIONS AND STANDARDS
* Basic understanding of the use of diagnostic software and how to use it.
* Proficient knowledge of hydraulic systems and their correct control settings.
* Can perform electro/hydraulic system troubleshooting.
* Proficient knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
* Has a good understanding on basic equipment operation and theory.
* Basic understanding of troubleshooting and repair of greaser systems.
* Is proficient in performing all monthly PM services with no guidance.
* Must have a good understanding of electro-hydraulics pump systems
