Responsibilities

The Information Technology Business Intelligence Specialist role is responsible for providing project and task support for the Business Intelligence unit efforts. This role will assist in deep data analysis and presentation via drill-down dashboarding to enhance data driven decision making efforts for PRECorp. This role will assist in evaluating, administering, maintaining, upgrading and troubleshooting PRECorp data technology solutions including spatial and non-spatial services and distributing data analysis and processing results to internal and external requestors/users. This role will also be responsible for providing development, administration and support for the enterprise reporting solutions utilized for core business including report writing and presentation solutions. This role has 4 key responsibility areas within the cooperative:

- Business Intelligence Task & Project Support

- Spatial Data Systems Administration and Support

- Enterprise Report Administration, Development & Support

- Data integrity and database support

- Equivalent to two years of trade school or college course work appropriate for GIS/ESRI and two (2) years of GIS/GPS/ESRI professional work experience and/or at least four (4) years of GIS/GPS/ESRI professional work experience at a comparable level. An emphasis will be put on ESRI experience.

- Experience with data analysis and presentation is preferred.

- Experience with enterprise reporting services development and administration such as Crystal Reports is preferred.

- Experience with enterprise dashboarding services and development is preferred.

- Experience with setup, design and working with various databases. This skill set should include building queries, writing reports, modifying tables and data fields. Some of the database skills could include but are not limited to, SQL server, Oracle, and Access.
