JOB SUMMARY
The Accounting Clerk will assist the Accounting Department with various tasks.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•Able to meet the physical demands of the position according to the physical demands analysis.
•Organize and process financial transactions by keying data, sorting documents and processing digital and cash transactions.
•Reconcile transactions, budget, and expense reports for monthly reporting.
•May assist with office-related duties such as answering phones, organizing mail, and ordering office supplies.
•Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
•Support internal and external audits.
•Pay and file invoices and track the status of each account.
•Keep well-maintained financial filing systems and routinely oversee and update the systems as necessary to streamline companies’ financial process.
•Communicate daily with other accounting professionals, financial decision-makers, and vendors.
•Interact with others through various methods, including phone, email, and face-to-face.
•Assist in processing payables invoices, including data entry, sorting, copying, and scanning.
•Update cash spreadsheet daily.
•Assist in other accounting functions such as data entry and posting of general ledger and cash transactions.
•Other projects as assigned.
•Regular and predictable attendance.
•Comply with Company drug and alcohol program.
