Job Summary

As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. You will work with a range of materials to create custom parts based on engineering blueprints or electronic files.

Duties

- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine machine set-up and production methods

- Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision parts

- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process

- Inspect finished products for accuracy and ensure they meet quality standards

- Troubleshoot issues with equipment and make adjustments as needed

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Proven experience as a Machinist or similar role

- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics

- Knowledge of cutting tools and their applications

- Strong attention to detail and precision

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
