Job Summary:

We are seeking a Local Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods locally, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining a safe driving record. Driving is a full-time job in the winter and the rest of the year, we complete plant and customer maintenance, installations, and repair work.

- Duties:

- - Drive various types of vehicles such as propane delivery truck, crane, and pick-up trucks- Load and unload propane safely and efficiently.- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time.

- - Perform basic maintenance tasks, i.e., checking for leaks; change out a regulator; run gas lines.

- -Maintain accurate records of deliveries; vehicle maintenance; and repair work completed.

- On-call Rotation

- Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.

- Ability to operate different types of vehicles including forklifts.

- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.

- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

-Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing

Skills:

- Class B CDL, with Tanker & Hazmat; No exclusions i.e., air brakes or manual transmission

- Driving

- Loading and unloading propane

- Mechanical skills helpful
