Trompler Fluid Power Products (TFPP), a division of Neosho Trompler, has an opening for a Warehouse Manager. This critical role is perfect for someone who wants to be part of something bigger. Trompler Fluid Power Products is growing bigger every month!
- Manage day to day activities in the Warehouse.
- Process all incoming inventory from vendors, barcode, assign bin locations and put in stock.
- Pull customer orders from stock according to purchase orders and/or shipping tickets. Pick, pack, and ship with online shipping systems UPS & FedEx.
- Ability to work with walk-in and telephone customers to help solve their industrial, mobile, and pneumatic hose and fitting needs.
- Maintain store counter and grow walk in trade.
- Help Manage VMI program and make deliveries as needed.
- Actively work with outside sales team and manufacturer representatives as needed.
- Conduct cycle counts as directed.
- Participate in required training and acquire certifications as directed by management.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Train all staff on all duties related to TFPP Warehouse operations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as purchase orders, shipping manifests and packing lists.
- Basic math skills with ability to count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Background in the use of industrial hose crimping machines is a plus.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment and experience with multi-carrier shipping systems preferred.
- Problem solving skills, dependable, flexible, and good moral character.
- Strong people skills for store counter sales
- Ability to operate forklift proficiently.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Hours 8:00AM to 4:30PM daily with overtime as needed.
