Welds (mig, tig, spot, robotic) various materials as directed to ensure production and quality goals are met in a timely manner.
II. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (essential and other functions):
1. Produce products (welded and otherwise) per instructions.
2. Work from drawings, job card, and specifications.
3. Know, understand, and demonstrate proper use of controls, equipment, and measuring tools.
5. Notify supervisor or lead person immediately of problems, concerns, or questions you may have.
6. Keep work area clean & free of hazards.
7. Follow special job instructions as communicated by supervisor or lead person or as on job card.
8. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor or lead person.
High School diploma or equivalent and good math skills required.
Knowledge to weld various types and thicknesses of materials.
Familiar with measuring instruments (tape measure, scales, calipers, etc.)
Pressroom, machine operator and/or other related production experience strongly preferred.
Completed basic welding course or one year of related welding experience.
Capable of mig, tig, spot, and robotic welding.
Able and willing to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Team player, works with others to solve problems and helps others when assistance is needed.
