We are seeking a friendly and attentive Gas Station Customer Service Associate to join our team at BPO Gas Station. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing transactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of the station. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be bilingual (preferred), and have experience in retail sales and cashiering. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in a fast-paced retail environment while delivering a positive experience to customers.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their needs in a courteous manner

- Operate POS systems efficiently for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing

- Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales opportunities

- Conduct product demos when applicable, showcasing merchandise to customers

- Stock shelves, merchandise displays, and ensure the store is clean and organized

- Manage inventory levels through stocking and merchandising activities

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly

- Maintain proper phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries

- Assist with retail sales, including grocery items if applicable, ensuring accurate checkout processes

- Support supervising staff as needed, including training new team members on store procedures

Skills

- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures

- Previous supervising or leadership experience is a plus

- Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory management

- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities (preferred)

- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills

- Experience with upselling, merchandising, stocking, and product demos

- Basic math skills for cashiering and retail operations

- Knowledge of grocery store operations is advantageous

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
