Bookkeeper / Accountant (In-House)

Stone Fabrication Company – Liberty Lake, WA

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 4:30

Compensation: $60K - $80K

About Us:

We are a well-established stone fabrication and installation company specializing in high-quality countertops and custom stonework. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our team and manage the daily financial operations that support our continued growth.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate is an experienced accounting professional with proficiency in QuickBooks and a strong understanding of payroll, job costing, financial reporting, and generally accepted accounting principles. This is a full-time, on-site position within a stable and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily & Monthly Accounting

· Record and categorize financial transactions accurately

· Maintain general ledger entries

· Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

· Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements

· Maintain accurate and organized financial reports in QuickBooks

Financial Reporting & Analysis

· Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements

· Generate cashflow reports and A/R summaries

· Produce analytical reports for management

· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives

· Track job costs and support inventory management

Payroll & Tax Support

· Process payroll accurately and on schedule

· Manage payroll deductions, benefits, and adjustments

· Assist with payroll tax reporting

· Support preparation for quarterly and year-end reporting

· Coordinate with external accounts as needed

Compliance & Record Management

· Maintain well-organized financial documentation

· Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations

· Monitor daily financial activity and ensure records match bank feeds

· Support tax preparation (excluding tax filing responsibilities, if desired)

· Maintain employee record keeping including L&I documentation

Qualifications

· Minimum 3 years bookkeeping and accounting experience (fabrication, or manufacturing preferred)

· Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop/Online

· Excellent organization skills and attention o detail

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
