The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance within our manufacturing plant. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Supervisor leads a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and facilities, and implementing preventive maintenance programs.
- Manage a team of maintenance technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all plant machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
- Oversee maintenance repairs and ensure quality workmanship in a timely manner.
- Assist in maintaining an inventory of spare parts and supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities in the CMMS.
- Identify and recommend equipment upgrades or replacements.
- Communicate effectively with production staff and management regarding maintenance needs and schedules.
- Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
- Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
- Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
- Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment. Minimum 3 years of experience in supervision of employees.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in computer skills, including CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and Microsoft Office software.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
- Must have excellent organizational skills and follow through.
- Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and work in a diverse workplace.
- A relevant technical degree, AutoCAD experience, PLC experience or certification is a plus.
