Our Heavy Equipment Haulers play a critical role in transporting the boilers, machinery, and industrial equipment that keep our customers’ operations running safely and efficiently. This work is hands-on, highly skilled, and essential to our mission.

As a Class A CDL Driver/Heavy Equipment Hauler, you will:

- Transport boilers, chillers, heavy machinery, and oversized loads

- Safely operate Class A vehicles and heavy haul equipment

- Conduct DOT-compliant pre-trip and post-trip inspections

- Load, secure, and transport equipment using chains, binders, straps, and rigging

- Operate lowboys, Landoll trailers, flatbeds, and other hauling equipment

- Navigate permits, escorts, route restrictions, and weight stations

- Maintain accurate trip logs and documentation

- Report defects, accidents, violations, or damage before and after trips

- Perform basic vehicle and trailer maintenance

- Work extended hours or long-distance routes when required

- Lift 75+ lbs and meet the physical demands of the role

- Represent Power Mechanical with professionalism and integrity

We care about your potential as much as your experience. Successful candidates will possess:

- A valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record

- Ability to pass all DOT physicals, drug screenings, and background checks

- Strong communication skills and customer-service mindset

- Minimum 2 years of CDL A driving experience (heavy haul preferred)

- High school diploma or equivalent (PTDI-certified schooling is a plus)

- Dependability, humility, and a strong work ethic

Preferred (but not required):

- Heavy equipment hauling experience

- Rigger or signalman knowledge

- Mechanical, welding, or electrical background

- Experience securing oversized loads or machinery
