# Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator – Electrical Operations
Location: Waco, Texas Department: Industrial Operations
Reports To: Director of Apprenticeship and Safety / HQ Warehouse Manager
The Warehouse Coordinator oversees the daily operations of the electrical warehouse, ensuring the safe and efficient handling and inventory of materials, tools, and equipment. This role is responsible for loading/unloading trucks, maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating vehicle maintenance with HQ, and supporting delivery logistics. The Warehouse Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting construction and field operations by maintaining a reliable, well-organized, and compliant warehouse environment.
- Manage loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring materials are received and shipped accurately and on time.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards in compliance with OSHA and company policies.
- Track inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Operate and oversee proper use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored, inspected, and maintained.
- Coordinate with HQ for vehicle maintenance, inspections, registrations, and documentation.
- Maintain logs for equipment use, service schedules, and repair needs.
- Schedule and coordinate material deliveries to job sites, optimizing routes and timing.
- Communicate with project managers and field teams to ensure delivery accuracy and timeliness.
- Work with vendors, carriers, and HQ to resolve delivery or supply chain issues.
- Maintain documentation for shipments, equipment maintenance, and safety checks.
- Enforce compliance with company policies, DOT regulations, and safety protocols.
- Assist with special projects or assignments as directed by leadership.
- Support cross-functional needs of Industrial Operations and Construction teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- 3+ years of warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience (electrical/construction industry a plus).- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with inventory software, documentation systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly.
- Prolonged standing, bending, and climbing in warehouse and yard environments.
- Operation of forklifts and other heavy equipment.
