Job Title: Tubing Production Line Lead Department: Manufacturing / Production Location: Sealy TX Job Type: Full-time

The Tubing Production Line Lead is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the tubing production line, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing process. This hands-on leadership role coordinates and supports line operators, enforces compliance with established procedures and standards, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing environment, strong leadership potential, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the tubing line, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and production efficiency.
- Coordinate and support production operators, providing basic training and guidance to ensure consistent performance.
- Enforce compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, and 6S workplace organization standards.
- Monitor equipment and production output to identify and report issues promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance and quality, to resolve problems and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records and assist in tracking key performance metrics.
- Foster a positive team environment focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Participate in and contribute to ongoing process improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in tubing, pipe forming, or a related process.
- Demonstrated leadership potential with the ability to train, coach, and motivate team members.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude, fast learner, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts or flexible hours, as needed.
- Familiarity with 6S or Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Must be able to lift and carry materials, tools, or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds independently, and occasionally up to 75 pounds with team assistance or mechanical aid.
- Frequent standing and walking for extended periods (8 to 12-hour shifts).
- Regular bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, reaching overhead, and working in awkward or confined positions.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required to handle small components and operate precision machinery.
- Ability to push/pull carts, pallets, or heavy components as part of the material handling process.
- Ability to climb ladders or access platforms for equipment maintenance or inspection when necessary.
- Must be able to work in an environment with continuous exposure to noise, and occasional exposure to vibration, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures (both hot and cold).
- You must wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times when in the production facility (e.g., steel-toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and hard hat).
- Must have the physical stamina and focus to perform repetitive tasks safely and accurately throughout a full shift.
