The Training Manager is responsible for the live implementation of the Axis training programs delivering real-time, interactive, in-person sessions or virtual classrooms that meet the organization’s requirements. This position will be responsible for facilitating and assessing training needs and working with L&D and cross functional teams to develop training plans while monitoring and evaluating training programs to ensure effectiveness.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Improve operational performance through understanding business needs and conducting training workshops, training sessions and on-the-job training across the company.
- Collaborate with business functions to identify competency gaps and training needs, implement training programs and assess effectiveness of training programs.
- Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify content and assist in designing training material, as needed. Recommend appropriate solutions and delivery methods to optimize knowledge transfer.
- Evaluate individual and organizational performance to ensure training meets business needs.
- Identify training needs by consulting with stakeholders and using competency needs assessments.
- Select and manage third party resources, including working with both internal employees and training vendors to develop and deliver training.
- Capitalize on knowledge and share best practices/lessons learned across organization.
- Plan, design, and publish internal learning solutions including facilitator-led workshops, course curricula, and learning opportunities leveraging a variety of mediums.
- Ensure professional learning content is developed accurately, on time and consistently audited for necessary updates.
- Support standard operating work procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations across business functions.
- Design systems or tools to evaluate a transfer of knowledge and application of new knowledge.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Travel Requirement: 50% (Hybrid)
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Education, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Training Manager, Trainer, or L&D specialist.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and training delivery methods
- Professional integrity, sense of responsibility and accountability and confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written, and attentive listener.
- Superb track record in developing and executing successful training programs.
- Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and related business and communication tools.
- Familiar with traditional and modern training processes.
