Job Summary
Assist Transmission Field Services (TFS) management and field personnel in assigned TFS Area(s) with the interpretation and development of safe work methods and procedures, the implementation of best practices, development and administration of capital and/or maintenance work plan, preparation of cost estimates to applicable work, the utilization of technology, the development of streamlined documentation and reporting, the development of IT systems that will assist TFS, the identification of appropriate refresher training and new equipment training; and, assist with the facilitation of information sharing meetings. Based on discipline (Station, P&C, or Line) some duties may not be applicable.
Job Description We are considering candidates at two different grades for this position & candidates will be evaluated and hired at the highest grade to which they qualify. What you'll do:
What we're looking for: Grade 6:
Education Requirement:
Associate degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related technical field and 1 year of utility field experience.; or high school diploma or GED and 3 years of related utility field experience.
Work Experience Requirement:
Utility field experience would include Transmission or Distribution Line, Station, P&C or Technical Support experience; or maintenance and/or construction work/project scheduling or project controls experience.
Grade 7:
Education Requirement:
Associate degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related technical field and 3 years of utility field experience; or high school diploma or GED and 5 years of related utility field experience which would include Transmission or Distribution Line, Station, P&C or Technical Support experience; or maintenance and/or construction work/project scheduling or project controls experience.
Work Experience Requirement:
Utility field experience would include Transmission or Distribution Line, Station, P&C or Technical Support experience; or maintenance and/or construction work/project scheduling or project controls experience.
Qualification requirements for an internal candidate only:
Those candidates holding position titles within the Trans Field Svcs Coord job family: to be eligible a candidate must 1) have an Associate's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related technical field and 1 year of utility field experience (or equivalent education and work experience combination); 2) have a minimum of 2 years of satisfactory work experience as a Trans Field Svcs Coord Assoc and successfully demonstrated the knowledge and skills required of Trans Field Svcs Coord to be considered for a promotion.
For those candidates holding position titles that are not within the Trans Field Svcs Coord job family: To be eligible a candidate must meet the education requirement for external candidates and demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills required of Trans Field Svcs Coord to be qualified for entry at this level, in addition to meeting the requirements below, if the position is within TFS Line or TFS Station Functional Groups. Note: Groups outside of the TFS Line or Station functions may have
different competencies.

Compensation Range:
$72,380.00-90,474.50 USD
